    Size does matter – to an extent. You can always add extra rows to make it larger. You ordinarily (but not always) start from the band at the brow of the head. Place it nearly your head, if it fits (even if it’s a bit snug) you are okay. Hats do stretch a bit. I use a G hook on most hats and have never had a problem.
