You have to make a slip knot first. Then pull up the thread, twist it once to make a loop, and place that on the hook. Look on the internet, there are TONS of groups for crocheters. Excellent luck.
Make a slip knot and place it on the hook. Pull it in anticipation of it tightens on the hook, loop a piece of yarn nearly the hook and pull it throught the loop on the hook.
